Crystal and Eric held their wedding and reception at Celebrations at the Bay on July 31st 2016. The wedding was scheduled at 6:30 but was delayed til 7 PM. A violent thunderstorm rolled in 2 minutes after the ceremony ended. A beautiful rainbow appeared about 20 minutes later. After cocktail the bridal party was introduced. The bride and groom’s son Mason is a huge batman fan so we played the “Batman Theme” when he walked in. The bride and groom did their first dance to “Thinking Out Loud” by Edward Sheeran. After dinner we did some Soca/Calypso type music since that is a favorite style by the bride’s family since she is originally from Trinidad. After dinner they cut the cake and did a surprise bouquet toss that ended up going to a friend (Crystal handed it to her instead of throwing it). Her boyfriend then proposed to her and she of course said yes. Everyone had a fun time dancing. They also had a photobooth.
Congratulations to Crystal and Eric

It was a very hot, bright, humid morning when Megan and Jonathan held their wedding at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena MD on July 30th 2016. I had done her sister in law’s wedding 2 years before at the same venue. The only difference was is that it was in the ballroom this time. The ceremony was on the deck and officiated by a friend. After the ceremony and cocktail reception, the bride and groom were introduced and danced their first dance to Then by “Brad Paisley”. The bride danced with her dad to “It Won’t Be Like This for Long” by Darius Rucker and the groom with his mom to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. Megan was a big One Direction fan so we played a few of their songs at the reception. Toward the end the Father of the Bride cut loose to “I Wanna Rock and Roll All Night” by Kiss and his friend did a mean air guitar to “You Shook Me All Night Long” by ACDC. Their last dance was “I Don’t Dance” by Lee Brice.

We were so pleased with DJ Dave for our wedding reception! He was very professional, flexible and fun to work with! He even came over a few days ahead of time to see the layout and go over some logistics! What really impressed us was that he truly enjoyed his “job” as DJ! And he had a perpetual smile the entire evening! His wife ran the photo booth and she was lovely and helpful as well.

Dave Holmes was a phenomenal DJ! Everyone loved him. He respected our values and wishes. Throughout the night he was good about sticking to our timeline and was able to go with the flow when the apron dance took longer than expected! My husband and I had a first dance made of several mixed songs and Dave had no problem working with the CD we provided for him. In addition to his services the night of, Dave provided us with a 22 minute edited video within 24 hours of our wedding. This was a total surprise and such a great touch!
We look forward to the videography video in the upcoming weeks. The videographer was also on top of his game the night of our wedding. He made sure he arrived early to capture our first look!
My husband and I look forward to recommending Event Entertainment to all of our friends and family.
